I relly enjoyed eating here in the past, but I went on my birthday and almost left in tears. The food was sub-par, extremely bland, over-sugared and over-salted. When I complained, the owner said that I should have asked for it "spicy." I love hot food and know the difference between not-spicy and tasteless - this was awful! Never going again. It used to be the best Indian food in town. Not anymore.

Ordered take-out using online menu. When we went to pick up the food the amount was $30 more than estimated & told it was due to looking at the prices for the 'wrong restaurant' - we looked at the uptown prices not the downtown prices. Why even have such vastly different pricing? I was tempted to tell them to keep their overpriced food, but as I have already waited 40 minutes for it I did pay the inflated price. The food was mediocre at best & I was trying to impress guests with what I had been told was fabulous Indian food. The Roti was inedible - tough & burnt. The buttered chicken & Korma had oil floating all over the top of the take out containers. The Popadums were completely stale and disgusting. I will neve visit again & will tell everyone of my poor experience.

well looking at tne resturant good decor looks like put in lot of money and waterfront location with patio and everything but comes to food being an indian i can tell u it was not indian food at all. These people are from Bangaladesh. There really killing the Indian foods.Onion bhaji"what they are offering is not an onion bhaji at all.In India,Onion Bhaji is different.Lamb curry is just reheated, not enough species at all.Butter chicken is tooo sweeety and itis tast good at all. Samosa was sweet too stuffed with veg that were smelling bad.Worst food ever. The "Palau rice" is full of butter and it is not good for health and every briyani is just mixing the palau rice and repective meat like chicken ,lamb or vegetable, and They are serving as Briyani.I am FronIndia and I know how the really indian food would be.In my point of view,Kingston neeed real, Indian food restaurent for ever.

Great naan bread. Chicken curry was only semi-decent. Decent service. However, portion sizes are too small - even for an Indian restaurant.
