Note on the title. I thought it was just called "Bistro" for a long time. That's the only sign you notice... so look for it!
We went to The Ivy Deck for the first time and liked it so much (especially the sweet potato fries!) that we went back there more often than we usually go to any restaurants to begin with.
Great food at a fair price, but the sweet potato fries are more than that. The fries are huge and have perfect seasoning, and the serving is fairly generous.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Nova Scotia. The spectacular view of Mahone Bay from the patio never fails to brighten my day. Gaze at the majestic, and well photographed, "3 Churches on the Ocean" and the sailboats floating by.
I've been here at least 20 times over the last 20 years and the Mug & Anchor never fails to impress. The atmosphere is good old down home Nova Scotian. The staff are always great and the food is consistently excellent and good value.Read more
