Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.) I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it. Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food. Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good. Read more

I came on good friday april 19,2019. I had the new orleans salmon with baked potato with butter and sour cream and rice. Was absolutely amazing taste and cooked perfect. It came with diced tomatoes and cilatro with some shrimp in like a cajun butter sauce. With those delicious biscuits they famous for and i even had a side ceasar salad. I have always wanted to try Milestones and finally went today for lunch as it is convenient to my hotel. If the bruschetta is any indication of the taste of their food, I will definitely be back! The lunch combo is a perfect way to try two dishes. The salad could have used more toppings, particularly the spicy glazed pecans but the vinaigrette is pleasant with the remaining greens. I love the fact that the bruschetta is on flatbread. Lots of goat cheese and great balsamic reduction! No need for dessert with this stuff! I can't see how anyone who visits this jewel, hidden in the corner of the plaza, would find any fault at all. I stumbled upon Dennis' little oasis about 5 years ago and it has become a weekly ritual. Jerk chicken is to die for. Ox tail is the best I have ever had for sure and the rice and peas stand up to any carribean resaurant in the GTA for sure. I have moved to Calgary and put my family as 1A and the Jerk Pit as 1B as things I miss the most. No Caribbean restaurant out here even compares. Read more

I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. The food here is very good but only slightly better than the cheaper places in the area. The teppanyaki tables are good. The sushi is fresh.
