My family and I have visited this restaurant many times and have always found the food to be delightful. The lunch specials at this restaurant are an excellent value and well as great quality. The service has always been friendly and warm. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the Barrie area.
I had a wonderful time at this resturant. I am really surprised by all the bad reviews. The main complaint seems to be there service but not in our case. The waitress was friendly as well as the host. Seems they really hold pride in the resturant. Give it a try and for those who had bad comments, it is plain to see you have never been in the service industry.
The service was really great considering the fact only two tables was occupied but food wise, not a reason to come back. The breaded shrimps were small and tasteless. For the price asked, we did expect a little more on the plate size and diversity in taste.
food was ok but a little high on the price, service was poor and our table was full with the empty glasses and other plates as we ordered dessert. maybe better next time.
We had confirmed this reservation five times, they said they had not received it yet we had a call from them days before confirming it. Four people at our table had 12 oz sirloin, all medium rare, one was well done. By the time they checked to see if everyting was alright we were nearly done the meal, he advised about his steak and the waitress asked if he wanted a different one and at that point we were ready to order desert so he said no and then she said the manager would offer him a free desert, meanwhile all the man had to eat was a baked potatoe. We all found the main host to be very rude, condensending and extremely arragant. As a customer who has been to this restaurant many many times I will no longer be a patron to this place. This experience here has left a definiate bad tast in my mouth, no pun intended. The main reason for not going back would most likely be the treatment of the manager/host.
