On Montreal’s Laurier Avenue you can find a lot of boutiques selling rare collections and highend merchandise. On this posh avenue, just a block away from the Cote Saint CatherineStreet, is where Michel Brisson opened his eponymous store, Michel Brisson.
From the street the store is immediately recognizable from its modern chic glass panel walls and the dapper duds on the mannequins in the window. Inside, the store is spacious with clean displays and long racks. Everything is designed around a black and white theme which gives the store a sophisticated yet minimalist look, which complements the high-end inventory. In 2007, Michel opened a second location in Montreal’s Old Port which is only half the size of the main store on Laurier Avenue. He also made a foray into e-commerce when he opened an online store on the company website in November 2013.
