Hoche Café is a must-visit in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood. Founded by Dominic Roy-Blanchette and his wife in 2011, this neighbourhood café stands out for its warm style and its way of bringing people together.
A passionate coffee lover, Dominic had been mulling for a long time over a space that would combine not only his love for roasting and great food, but also his desire to be a part of his community. Hoche Café was inspired by what he liked about his favorite spots in Chicago and New York: friendliness, quality and authenticity.
In Dominic's words, Hoche Café is a place where one feels "at home." As it happens, a customer already confessed that she felt so comfortable at the café that she'd stop by for coffee in her pajamas. "Why not?" Dominic says, all smiles.
Located in the heart of Hochelaga, Hoche Café offers a menu consisting of light meals such as sandwiches, paninis, salads and their famous grilled-cheese sandwiches with green apples, caramelized onions and the much talked about Île-aux-Grues cheddar cheese. The restaurant is warm and the atmosphere is more than enjoyable.
