Our goal is to bring wellness, inspiration, healing, spirituality, joy and kindness to the world. We believe that by improving the quality of a person's life, we also contribute to making the world itself a better place. We work to build community around a culture of wisdom, compassion, inclusivity, love, respect for the earth, and mindfulness. Our holistic approach makes for an eclectic, yet inter-related collection of books, CDs, natural remedies, crystals, jewelry, icons, herbs, incense, candles, journals, and other creative spiritual tools and gifts that support healing, personal growth and well-being.Established in 1990 on Harbord Street, Wonderworks is located in the historical Annex neighbourhood, adjacent to the University of Toronto's downtown campus. WonderWorks is not just a shop but a community hub. They hold regular events, such as their Mindful Living meditation group and Tarot Fridays, in their light-filled location. Wonderworks was founded in 1985 by Mary Anderson, making it one of the longest running shops of its kind in the city.
Wonderworks is a Zen, intimate space for spiritual seekers. They offer all the tools needed for relaxation: music, aromatherapy, crystals, candles, teas and meditation aids. This is a shop, art gallery and workshop hub all in one. Here, you can receive in-person guidance on Tarot Tuesdays from Lori Lytle or request a reading via email. You can even learn to read the cards yourself in their beginner series ‘Tarot Secrets’.
