Terrible service. Waited 50 minutes for my pizza and pasta order. Chef burned the pizza and had to make it again! What kind of chef burns a pizza? Never told me until after 45 minutes of waiting that they burned it and had to start over. I cannot rate the food as I left after getting tired of waiting. There are better places to go that have courteous service and food that comes out on time.
Worst service by far that I have ever experienced in my life. I’m actually baffled that people can run a business like this. From the girl who took orders/answered calls almost hanging up on me for complaining that my pizza was almost two hours late to the “manager” who offered no apology or understanding and said he’d talk to the girl. And went on to laugh also? RUDE and just a blatant disrespect for people who keep your business alive. My company routinely ordered from you for..no more!
What a disappointing experience. My veal sandwich was so horrible. Veal cutlet was so hard and dry that I could not bit into the sandwich. After my comment they just put more sauce on the sandwich???? This was last time for me!!!
Extremely rude middle aged gent running the show on the take out delivery side. Berated delivery driver and lacked any politeness for me as a customer either.
FINALLY. A place in Toronto that serves awesome Pizza! Fresh Toppings, loaded with taste, perfect cheese, and a great crust. And not greasy! Hands down my favourite and best Pizza parlour in Toronto. The Danforth Pizza house is good, but this is better. If you have ever had pizza in the Windsor-Detroit area, this pizza is made from that same recipe. You'll know as soon as you taste it. If you decide to dine in, the interior is clean, casual, and a classy. Staff is friendly and work hard to ensure you are happy with your meal. The pasta dishes are good too, very fresh, and good sized portions. The prices are standard fare.
Good pizza, nice atmosphere. I'd recommend this to most anyone looking for a decent experience.
Hands down best pizza in the city whether delivery, takeout or eat in. Walking slices are huge and cheap as well! Actual food when you eat in besides pizza was ok.
We eat here almost once a week. And often take-out when we don't. Very family friendly but fine for a dinner for two!
Best delivery pizza in toronto, the pasta dishes are also good. The only thing I suggest you stay away from are the italian sandwichs tried them a couple times and never was impressed the bread is terrible and the veal is nothing special. Tip ask for the pizza well done.. yum
Vesuvio is my favourite delivery pizza in Toronto. I've been ordering from them for 5+ years and they never disappoint. It's not greasy and tasteless like a lot of the usual delivery options. Vesuvio delivers a nice crunchy thin crust pizza with a choice of great toppings.
This is officially my favourite restaurant of all time. Their manicotti is to die for and their pizza is the best I've ever had. Service is usually pretty good too, but I have to say the food would definitly make up for any lack of service. Any special occassion, when I'm in the area, Vesuvio is where I want to go! I have been on numerous occasions with various people and I have never heard a complaint about the food. ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!
An Italian dining splendor in our own back yard...! We had delivery f.y.i
This restaurant has always been one of our favourite for Pizza delivery, but now that we moved closer, we can enjoy the spacious dining room (with party room availibility). The "Homemade" feel of their food make you wished you grew up in an Italian household. Everything about the food is close to perfection, to the lightly seasoned salad, fresh buns, and pasta and pizza that offers a great compromise between gourmet and traditional. Food can take time to get to you, but I attribute it to it being freshly made. While we wait, waiting staff is friendly and keen on getting us bread and salad to keed the kids patient. The display they put to celebrate their 50th anniversary is very insightful of the history of the Toronto Junction. The art display is also another testament to the owners' commitment to supporting local artists and improving this up-and-coming area.
Couldn't cut the pizza with a knife. No size other than personal pizza available. No large, no medium. Gets expensive when you want pizza for a large group of people. Pizza tends to be burned on the bottom. I was disappointed.
we always order from vesuvios for "special corporate" occasions. great variety of topings - unique & unbeatable. best pizza ever!!! if you are found of hot/spicy food you must try the "'volcano"' pizza!
For many years Vesuvio's has been pleasing my family's palate with culinary excellence... Excellent food and ambiance plus friendly, family oriented service.

Vesuvio is that oh-so-cute Junction spot for a romantic Italian dinner with affordable and perfectly rendered dishes like a traditional spaghetti carbonara, veal scallopini or mushroom risotto. Or opt for delivery from their condensed takeout menu. For an arrabiata option, sample the Vulcano pizza, spiced to perfection with hot peppers, hot capicollo and hot Italian sausage, or bonus, a piping hot panzerotti (watch out, that cheese will be steaming!)
