Great floral arrangements can make any happy event more enjoyable and can bring colours and light to otherwise grim circumstances. That's what Colin Su, owner of Riverside Flower Shop & Florist, will tell you if you ask him why flowers drew his interest.
Colin creates unique flower arrangements and floral designs for his customers and the events they pour so much of their hearts into. "We design arrangements for weddings, bar mitzvahs, funerals, corporate events; any kind of event and for every type of customer, basically,” he says.
A veteran florist, Colin uses flowers of the highest quality to create his floral works of art. “We buy what we need from flower auctions, which helps us in making sure that the flowers we use are of the best quality and freshness available on the market,” he explains. "At these auctions, we're able to meet the farmers and the greenhouse owners and we get to create durable relationships with them, enabling us to carry the best flowers around."
If the flower supply keeps Riverside Flower Shop & Florist from delivering specific arrangements for custom orders, Colin doesn't hesitate to import what he needs from elsewhere. "Depending on the season or the type of order, we bring some flowers in. Sometimes, when you need something very specific, you have to, because some flowers really can't grow here."
