Veterinarian Chris O’Toole has been serving the pet-friendly Bloor West Village community since 2009. Growing up in North Bay, Ontario, with three dogs, four cats and numerous horses fueled Chris’s passion for animals. After spending four years honing his skills at a fast-paced downtown Toronto veterinary practice, Chris decided to open the doors to his own veterinary practice. And since he lived in the Bloor West Village area and loved the family-friendly and pet-friendly atmosphere, the location was a no-brainer. The practice has a view of High Park, considered a dog’s paradise, and it’s located near two pet supply stores, making the location ripe for a veterinary practice.
A photo of Chris’s wheaten terrier, Oscar, along with his twin children (a boy and a girl) rest on his desk, creating the feeling of a family-oriented practice that considers pets a vital part of the family. “We treat our clients’ pets as we treat our own,” Chris says of the clinic.
