The waiters and waitresses are usually pretty busy, but always make a clear effort to serve their customers.
Fish and chips are excellent. Buffalo Chicken burger is amazing! The trucker's poutine has hamburger, cheese, and fries and is served on a huge platter. Very filling! The caesar salad, when ordered as a side dish is just excellent! The garlic bread is the best in town. Huge milkshakes!
I love that you can come here any day, any time and they will serve you breakfast or dinner at 2:00AM.

Although the wait times can be a bit tedious, it's usually worth it. Prices are fair. The seniors menu is great for grandma!
The service was very good ,friendly waitress. the food on the other hand was average our local chip truck dose better and for less money. I haven't eaten anywhere else in Pembroke so this may be your best bet.
The food is great but the service I received this time around was absolutley horrible. I have a 4 year old, and three other children. I dont mind waiting for a table but to wait 15 min to be asked if we would like a beverage was unacceptable. As the waitress took orders and served people who were seated after us, my 4 yr old started to get busy. She finally took our order after 10 more min, then it took 25 min more before we recieved our food. By this time it was all I could do to keep my youngest in his seat. people who were behind me in line were finished and out the door 15 to 20 min before we were. I had ordered 2 kids meals which were to come with dessert. She did not even offer them, as she handed us our bill then proceeds to ask if we would like anything else. Needless to say NO TIP. I will go again I enjoy the food, but will ask which server I will be getting before taking my seat.
Great amounts of food usually split or take home for lunch the next day. I personally LOVE the desserts which ARE made from scratch! the pie crust is so thin that even my husband who has Gluten intolerance can eat it without wasting 1/2 the pie ... like most places. We personally find the wraps/sandwiches and the buffalo chicken burger are the BEST! The breakfast menu isn't really one... Keep up on the good work!
Big Stop is a truck stop, which justifies why the portions are so huge ... they are meant to feed a 250lb man who only wants to eat twice a day. So unless you are extremely hungry, a hockey team or simply a glutton, consider splitting some of the choices with a friend. The food quality is truck stop quality--nothing special, and nothing made from scratch except the coffee.
