This place used to be good when they first re-opened their doors after expanding. We find their food quality has gone down the hill, nothing special, not worth their prices. Their service is terrible !!! Their staff does not care about customer service what so ever. I think they are making money off all the customers that sit at the bar and drink so customer service in the dining room has fallen away. Very sad since it was a nice place to eat. Don't ever eat the ribs there, worst tasting things ever !!!
The Pump House Grille has a bistro-like setting and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of different cuisines with ample portion sizes. The entrees are a cut above typical pub fare, in so far as every dish includes fresh and unique flavours. They have a decent selection of drafts, including two of our favourites from the Old Port Credit Brewery. We love dining here, and have quickly become regulars.
Food portions were okay... it was very crowded the day we went and the table full of screaming , crying and obviously mentally tormented children at the table next to ours certainly ruined our dinner time enjoyment.
OUr waitress was trying her best but those kids would try anyone's patience. ( note to parents: public behaviour of your offspring is a direct reflection on YOU).
The portions were good sized but the food was just okay.. nothing special. We would go again, but would look in the windows first to determine the size of the crowd. ITs not big enough in there when its full.
the food was amazing the cooks were incredible and the waitresses were attentive and were always on top of things I.e refills, if we wanted the window closed , how they could help us...
