Yes, have to get word out they are not reliable or know what they are talking about. I would not recommend them at all. They do not reply to calls or give any service after installation. I finally got my heat pump working with another Daiken service company. DO NOT Waste your time with Air Care at 8 Gilbert Street, Fredericton NB
If I could give them a negative star - I would! Absolutely zero service... pardon me - they sent a rookie out 2 years after notifying them that it still didn't work - Have now had this non functioning unit since day 1 over three years ago. Like many of the other comments on here - no call back - missed appointments when they do - no diagnostics done on the unit - paid for 12 years of service - haven't received even one!
installation was quick. No satisfying service after sale. Numerous false promises non returned phone calls NO show for booked appts after taking time off work Had another service technican fix the problem in no time Dont fall for the 12 year Daikon warranty because they just wont come back to fix. AVOID AVOID!
No service after the sale. Hired company in 2009 to install heat pump, air handler, venmar hrv , central vac and all the duct work, cost was $16,500. Just two years later the hrv unit failed. After several phone calls and no show, I made a personal visit to the owner. He didn’t apologize, but did say he would have his guy over to check it out the next day. That failed to materialize as well. Martin’s came and replaced the motor. They’re only interested in initial job where the big $ are. AVOID!
Got my replacement part ordered and under warranty when another company told me it wasn't under warranty. Fast and professional service. Heat pump up and running.
They have excellent prices and quick install. Have had my mini split for 3 years and it still works perfectly. Good heat down into the -27 range and good ac all summer long.
I cannot say one good thing about Air Care. They are the worse company I ever dealt with. They kept telling me they were going to repair my system but never showed up. I wasted over three months waiting for this company. On at least ten occasions they said they were coming and didn't show up. I wasted so much time waiting for them. I honestly don't know why they treated me so unfairly.
I had Air Care install a new Air Exchanger about a year ago I called them a couple of weeks before Xmas 2012 to do a maintenance check. They told me they would come within the week and would call before. Well I called them back AFTER Xmas asking when they would do the inspection got voice mail left a message which was never returned. Because I'm sometimes a little slow I called them again on Jan 10,2013 and was told they would be there either before lunch or early in the that same afternoon and would call before advising. Well its Jan 11,2013 and once again they never showed up they never called so I'm finally convinced this firm is in the hands of serious incompetents or worse so I guess i will look elsewhere for service and hope they don't find I received a substandard job when the system was installed by Air Care.
Hi there - We had the exact same issue with this company! They were here ASAP to install our $7000 unit three years ago. Once that was done and the guys left, our dealings with them changed. We didnt seem to have a manual for our unit, we called them and called them. Left message after message - no return phone call. Our unit was not working properly.... call after call to them with no response and/or broken promises on their part to follow up. Kenvin would tell us that Pat would get back to us in 10 minutes... then weeks would go by with no contact from them. This has gone on for years now with dozens of examples like this - over and over. We'll call you back. No such luck. Recently, we decided to add on to our house but the outside unit hoses were in the way. We called them to ask them to come and move them. Of course, they booked an apt to come right away. My husband took the day off work to be with them so they would know where to move it to.... but they, as always, were a no show. And no phone call to us to even let us know that they weren't coming. Nor did they call the next day or the next. Finally, after daily calls to Kevin they tell us that this product has a 4 degree variance. So, if you set it for 20 degrees, expect the room temperature to range between 16 and 24 degrees! Does this sound right to you? Bottom line? From house owner to house owner.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Had a mini split ductless system (GREE) installed by them in the summer of 2010. They were great initially... but once they were paid and the system wasn't performing, had to call them about 50 times before someone finally came out. Tech that showed up definitely made me feel like I was bothering them. Would not deal with again.
