At Garden Party Flowers there’s a focus on beautiful, fresh flowers and delivering on promises. The team sets a high standard for themselves and their products, and this shines through in the attractive creations they offer to customers.
Flowers and plants are sourced from local greenhouses and farms, and when not in season, the store reaches out to wholesalers in Holland, Ecuador, Columbia and Israel.
Once on site, the flowers are carefully arranged into works of art. A high level of care is taken in creating arrangements precisely as advertised or discussed with clients, even if that means hustling to source the necessary flowers, or remaking bouquets which aren't quite right.
“We get flower deliveries almost every single day,” says Lauren Sabo, a team member at the shop. “It's very difficult with so many seasonal elements to keep your product consistent,” she adds. But delivering on its promises is exactly what the team, and is a distinguishing feature of Garden Party Flowers.
“The team of designers here—we all work together, and we take a look at each other’s orders before they go out the door. We have each other’s back on that. If it doesn't look as perfect as it can, it doesn't leave until it does,” says Lauren.
The photography room on-site is used to produce professional level images of arrangements, which then go up on the website. The site is kept up to date – an important aspect of the business, as about half of the orders for flowers are made online.
Garden Party is all about people. Creative director and floral designer Amy Hu leads a team that works with clients as if they were family and friends.
