2014 Christmas.charged me double to what was quotted on the phone,were extremely rude and was ganged on by 4 employees that they could never make a mistake like that.paid the full amount,They had tied a red bandana on my dog,few hours later I find my dog panicking trying to get bandana off his neck. the bandana is so horibllly tight that he was having a hard time breathing.called to let them know.they were disgustingly dismissive,rude and not willing to believe they did it.I would NEVER go back.
They always do a great job, and if there's a problem, it's corrected right away.My arthritis prevents me clipping nails, etc. and these groomers are good with my Aussie.
This is a wonderful, caring and professional grooming shop. I am very impressed with their dedication to provide all-round exceptional care and quality. I highly recommend their services.
Absolutely love the atmosphere of this shop! My dog is always just as happy going in to play with her regular AND new friends as she is to come home. The dogs are allowed to socialize on the floor while they wait for their groom..and at the same time feed off each others feelings on the surroundings making it easier on everyone. The products and tools they use are all chosen to make the dogs groom as fast and stress free as possible. They are always looking out for the dogs best interest and never hesitate to take the time to explain things so you better understand the process on how to keep your pet happy healthy and looking great! :)
We have been taking our dog shadow to Pauline's Pet Grooming for over 2 years. She loves going there and they have always done an excellent job on her hair. We would recommend Pauline's to anyone.
We dropped are dog Billy off at Pauline's Pet Grooming ( we asked to have something different done to him). When we picked Billy up he had blue paws and a blue mow hawk. Billy looked very cute. We were very happy with the results. We would recommend taking your dog to Pauline's Pet Grooming for his or her haircut ( and if you want something a little different).
I take my dog their often and I am quite pleased with the friendly faces I am greeted with. My puppy is always excited to go to the shop and I have not had any problems. She comes home groomed, clean and happy.
I used to work for Pauline, so I want to give some insight that others might not have. First, we do actually have to stop working when you come to pick up your dog *early*... they get excited to see you and we're working with very sharp scissors. So even though people get upset that it then takes longer, we're waiting for your dog to calm down so he or she is safe. Pauline has always treated the dogs like her own (which she pampers). Everyone who works there loves dogs. <3
Today I finally took Oso to get groomed. I brought him here because I always pass by there and just decided to give them shot. Other places don't seem to care about the dogs feeling but Oso would always come back home grouchy. When I picked him up he looked calm and wasn't scared. I was happy with his look. His haircut wasn't too short and he smelled so good that i couldn't stop hugging and sniffing himYou can tell they love dogs and are super friendly and kind with them
I've been taking my dogs to Pauline's for years. I find their prices average and the quality exceptional. My dogs are always happy when I pick them up. Thjey smell and look great.
we took our puppy to this groomers for the first year of his life. he always looked great when we picked him up and were pleased with the cut etc. prices seemed to vary a little to much but was still reasonable. HOWEVER WHEN YOUR PUPPY IS PETRIFIED TO GO IN THROUGH THE DOOR THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. OUR POOR LITTLE DOG GOT MORE AND MORE AFRAID OF GOING TO THE POINT HE POOPED ON MY WIFE AS SHE CARRIED HIM THROUGH THE DOOR. WE SWITCHED GROOMERS AND SINCE HE HAS BEEN HAPPY TO GO.
Paid $78 for a medium size, well-behaved spaniel. Our puppy just needed another trim, he wasn't dirty at all. After his appointment, he just looked fluffed, not trimmed. His ears weren't even cleaned. We usually paid $50-$60 for everything done on him with the same groomer - nail trim, ear cleaning, bath and cut. I'm not sure what the reason is for their inconsistent pricing.
Overpriced for very little service.
I do beg to differ, I bring my little shihtzu Bailey into Pauline's all the time and I absolutly love the place, The girls have always done exactly what Ive asked for, he looks so adorable when he`s all done and is all nice and fluffy! He is always wagging his little tail when I pick him up I can tell he`s had tons of fun playing with his friends :)
I would definitley recommend this place for anyone looking for a great groomer!
I have been taking my dogs to Pauline's Pet Grooming for a long time now, and have never met a better group of people. They are knowledgeable about many different dog breed haircuts and various skin/coat issues (my golden has VERY dry, itchy skin due to food allergies I are still trying to determine)
Understanding that working with animals, anything can happen, and sometimes they get a little "backed up" I normally expect my guys to be there for a few hours. I like the fact that they let the dogs all socialize together, with the exception of a few (my other little guy tends to urinate on everything while there, trying to be "top dog") as i'm sure others do also. When they are all done a staff member gives me a call and I come right down to get them.
When I come to pick them up they are very excited to see me, and always look clean and tidy, not a hair out of place. They always use oatmeal shampoo on my golden which seems to help his itchy skin and makes him smell awesome! My bichon is always crisp and white and comes home wearing a cute festive bandana.
The girls there are awesome and do a really great job, and will always try to fit my dogs in for a "emergency" bath if they have taken a smelly dip in the channel.

I've been going to Pauline's Pet Grooming for all most a year now and have been very happy with the service. I can tell the staff there genuinely love my bulldog, Hummer and he loves going there. They let all the dogs play and it's such great socializing for him, not to mention that he always comes home smelling so good and has no more shed!
I took my 1yr old Maltese to this place for the first time to be "professionally groomed". They assured me of the price and that they could handle a 'new recruit' just fine.
I brought my Maltese in with a shaggy puppy-cut and told them I just wanted a neat trim. They said no problem, and it would be a few hours.
I came back three times, first time when they told me to, after three hours. They then told me to try again later. I went back 3 times at 2-hour increments and he still wasn't finished. The fourth time, they berated me saying I was the cause of the lengthy trim because I kept upsetting him. ( I never saw him once.) The first time I came, I noticed he was still sitting in the same kennel they had put him in three hours prior. Although I had an appointment and came early, they made him wait over three hours before even starting on him.
When he was finally done (6...yes SIX hours later) he was so upset and scared he peed right on the counter and scratched my arm trying to get away from them. They put a PINK bow in my BOY dog's hair. He looked rediculous and he smelled totally nasty like cheap soap and perfume - I had to give him a bath when we got home because he kept sneezing. They gave me a report card for my dog saying he was ill-behaved, and told me that they were charging me for the use of their muzzle and for bad-manners. My bill came to over 30$ more than they initially told me, and this after they said a young dog was no trouble. I clearly explained to them it was his first time before I agreed to leave him there.
Shouldn't a professional groomer be able to handle an excited scared young dog? And how was it my fault so that I was to be charged an extra fee for their own incompetence???
I will never, NEVER go back there, and I happily warn all other dog lovers to do the same. This place is horrible. Tell your friends.
