I have to tell you, I don't normally write reviews but this place needed mentioning. We were going to the movies at Rainbow and saw that they had a "Dinner and Movie" deal. What a deal ! I bought a Mondo Burrito - it was freaking huge ! chips and guacamole, and a drink for $15 bucks and that included my $9 movie ticket ! You cant beat that deal anywhere. The rest of the party really enjoyed their meals too .. word of warning though ... their HOT sauce is HOT ;-) We'll certainly be back ! Read more

After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished. Read more

Very authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. My husband and I have been several times, and have always been happy with the food - the quantity as well as the quality. When our daughter and son-in-law came to visit, we took them there, and they were also impressed. I have read the other reviews and am left wondering as we had plenty to eat, with no shortage of meat. The waitress even mentioned to my son-in-law that his dinner would take a little longer to prepare. Read more

We love to visit Ottawa Street to shop, go to the farmer's market and so much more! We have been to Poco Loco many times. We first visited last year. We had the tacos. We did not return for 6 months and the man who owns the restaurant remembered us. The nachos do need to be the first thing you eat if you order them. The burritos are great and filling! I love to drink a smoothie afterward. The food is not fast, but it is good. The one big table shared by customers is lined with hot sauces which is always an adventure. Read more

All you gotta do is go and try this place then you'll see why it's a hidden gem!!! Great food but hidden in Guelph in a small plaza, if you are into Mexican food you will love it, I love this type of cuisine and after trying many other places I can say this one is authentic and we'll come back again, I'm glad we finally have a real Mexican place in town.
