The Manoir du Spaghetti de Trois-Rivières, a story to tell
On Hart Street in Trois-Rivières, in the heart of the historic district of the second oldest French-speaking city in America, we can still see the ancestral home which has housed, since 1978, the restaurant Le Manoir du Spaghetti, a residence acquired from Jean-Louis Caron, architect recognized for his work on the site of the cathedral of Trois-Rivières.
This authentic Canadian house sheltered the joys and sorrows of several notable families of the city of Laviolette, including that of Ezekiel Hart. The latter was the first member of Jewish origin elected in Canada.
