Custom T-Shirt Printing In The Junction.
When two friends work together towards a common goal, anything is possible. At Sugarbomb, Ann Slinger and Caitlan Watson operate a silk screen press and vinyl heat-transfer press to make custom T-shirts, hats, team uniforms, and just about anything else that can have a design pressed onto it.
“We played roller derby for nine years together, so we've been friends for a while. We worked together at a skate shop also, that was where we were plotting this idea,” Ann says. “We went all over the place. We went to London, England, down to Nashville, over to Portland; we've been on a lot of road trips together.”
The Evolution of a Business.
Sugarbomb started in Caitlin’s kitchen in 2012 with just a single vinyl heat press machine, but in 2013 they moved into their current digs; a small loft space in a warehouse complex by the Junction train tracks.
Sugarbomb has come a long way from making armbands for their roller derby team. They specialize in smaller T-shirt orders, but the possibilities are endless and not everything is silk screened. For some things the vinyl press is still better for the job, such as athletic wear & sports bras.
The Local Favorites.
Suffice it to say, Ann and Caitlan love running their own business. They also provide special attention to the local community.
This dynamic duo can turn around orders in under two weeks, which is pretty fast in the screen printing business. If you ever need to have team uniforms made, or maybe you just have a backpack that you want to have branded with a logo of your own creation, try calling Sugarbomb & support a local small business.more...See more text
