This is an absolutely FANTASTIC butcher shop.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH STAFF COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS.
1) None of the staff are wearing masks
2) None of the staff are respecting physical distancing among themselves. I saw one staff member come within inches of another staff member while restocking a chicken tray.
3) No hand sanitizer clearly displayed and used by staff between serving customers.
PLEASE DO BETTER STAFF AT THE BUTCHER SHOP - PUT ON MASKS!
I was first introduced to the Butcher Shop back in 1998 when I worked for Independent Electric Supply. My boss would give all the staff a gift certificate for the Butcher Shop at Christmas time. since then I have retired and moved to Newcastle Ontario, but still drive into Scarborough once a month or so to shop at the Butcher Shop. The meat is like no other, beautifully tender and tasteful. The animals are all grain fed, free roaming and killed humanely.They also make the most wonderful beef and chicken pies and sell beef and chicken stock with NO FAT, for gravy. Fresh fish is also available along with a hoast of dairy products and cold meats etc. Get there early though and take a number, this place is always packed. The staff are always laughing and joking and if Tony happens to be there, being a typical Irishman, he greets all the ladies with, "Hallo me Darlin". It is worth the drive, believe me.
