I have been to Pastacino before and...

I have been to Pastacino before and please...ignore the poor reviews. The service, decor, atmosphere and most importantly, food is FANTASTIC. I was with a large party, specifically, a group of 14 and were well, well, taken care of by the team at Pastacino. The dining room was packed although our server made sure we were promptly taken care of: our glasses remained full, our bread baskets were never empty and our stomachs were busting by the end of the evening. MOST importantly: the owner visted us at the end of evening and finished the night by offering us a few shots on the house. The pasta is home made - what more could you want!

Excellant restaurant! The food was amazing. It was the best Italian I've had in Hamilton so far. The small option for portion size was just right...the large looked HUGE! The service was a little slow because there was only two waitresses for the whole restaurant...but they did their best.

We had a birthday party for one of our friends...

We had a birthday party for one of our friends. We were supposed to have a deal between yuk yuks and this resturant. Apparently this resturant knows nothing about the deal. Our reservation was for 6:30pm. to give us an hour and a half to eat before going to the comedy club. We sat down at 6:30pm and got our drinks pretty quick. Our waitress disappeared for over 20 minutes. By the time she came back we asked how much longer we have to go next door for the comedy club at 8pm. It was 7:40pm before we got our meals. 1 1/2 hours waiting is WAY too long to be waiting. We were than told that 20 minutes was enough time to eat and get next door. The guys gave it a shot. They didn't make it. We had asked for seperate bills. It was quite a shock when our bill came all together. We than had to wait for her to seperate the bills which she got wrong. We were 25 minutes late for the comedy show.

CLEARY these people don't know amazing homemade...

CLEARY these people don't know amazing homemade Italian food when they taste it! I couldn't believe it, for 7.99 y friend got a good sized bowl of amazing fettucine alfredo, and my boyfriend got a very large bowl of spaghetti primavera with soup and bread for 10.99! Our entire party only cost $75! Such a romantic atmosphere, yet still inviting, and the staff are very polite and attentive :) I will come here weekly.
