    My husband and I ...

    My husband and I LOVE seafood....we tried Gimli Fish for the first time last week....what a treat! So much to choose from we will be going back for a long time just to try everything. Everything we bought was fantastic!

    Come for the Pickerel, Get Zander Instead!

    On March 30, 2015, it was reported by CTV Winnipeg that Gimli Fish Market was caught passing off Zander (a fish from Kazakhstan) as Lake Winnipeg Pickerel Cheeks. Of course, when confronted, the owner of the company claimed that it was all a mistake, that the wrong labels were put on the packages. Well, okay, that could possibly have occurred...on one occasion...BUT NOT FOR FOUR MONTHS!!!??! Nice try, but an epic fail on all counts...

    If you are a gourmet of seafood, or not, come here. Numerous weekly specials of seafood and other pre made indulgences. Staff very helpful regarding information and selection of items. Recommend.
