The ever-popular dining event, Winterlicious, is back January 26 to February 8, 2018, with many of Toronto’s favourite restaurants serving up special prix-fixe menus and unique dishes. From pub fare to gourmet Italian cuisine, Toronto has a diverse restaurant scene that participates in the annual food fest and here are the best bets for Winterlicious 2018! Maple Leaf Tavern
The Maple Leaf Tavern is always a must-try during the ‘licious season! Chef Jesse Vallins makes it his mission to provide locally sourced pub food to the East End neighbourhood. The prix-fixe menu is always filled with delicious choices that will satisfy everyone’s tastes.

Ufficio
Ufficio is an Italian restaurant that offers up a unique take on the traditional dishes Toronto is used to. This spot offers a pescatarian approach to Italian cuisine, offering seafood rather than meat. Open since 2016, Ufficio has quickly become a favourite among many foodies participating in Winterlicious. Ufficio remains dedicated to using only locally sourced, sustainable ingredients in all of the dishes.

Colette Grand Café
Colette’s Parisian cuisine is more than a meal, it’s an experience, and one you’re not going to want to miss this Winterlicious! The prix-fixe menu is reminiscent of the cafes you’ll find lining the streets of Paris. Not only is the food authentic, the atmosphere of Colette is chic, bright and inviting. The combination of delicious eats and ambiance for such a great deal, makes Colette a favourite spot during Winterlicious.

Ricarda’s
Opened just a short time ago, Ricarda’s quickly became a must-try during last year’s ‘licious event. The laid back, Mediterranean-style menu is something that seems to please everyone. The massive space, (it seats 170), is bright and welcoming, making for great Instagrammable shots! You can expect fresh and authentic Mediterranean cuisine from across the region.

Beaumont Kitchen

Figures
Figures has gained notoriety due to the superhero theme found in both décor and the cocktail menu. For Winterlicious, the menu will showcase seasonal and inventive food. Chef Ron Stratton is promising a prix-fixe menu that pairs perfectly with the superhero-inspired cocktail menu.

Chase Fish & Oyster

Momofuku Noodle Bar
Winterlicious is a time for warm comfort food and what better place for that than Momofuku Noodle Bar. You can dine on popular ramen dishes and pork buns for a great price. When you’re done, you can head upstairs for dessert at Momofuku’s Milk Bar.
