10 lunch menus to indulge in for Summerlicious 2017

Los Colibris
Los Colibris doesn’t usually open until dinner service, but during Summerlicious, you can get lunch too! Los Colibris has taken Mexican cuisine to a new level, and if you haven’t gotten around to trying chef Elia Herrera’s take on Mexican cuisine, now’s the time to do it! Try the Enchiladas de Poblano or the Chilaquiles.

East Thirty-Six
A French snack bar, East Thirty-Six isn’t usually open for lunch, but they made an exception for Summerlicious. The lunch menu is filled with options that make East Thirty-Six so great like Confit Chicken and Seafood Arancini showcase the quality and authenticity of the restaurant’s take on Mediterranean cuisine.

Wish
Wish’s laid back atmosphere is matched with a formal service and delicious bistro cuisine. This and Wish’s optimal location (right on Yonge Street), makes this a perfect middle of the week lunch! Whether you go for the burger or the “healthy bowl” everything is guaranteed to be delectable.

Prohibition Gastrohouse
The folks at Prohibition Gastrohouse set out to provide a social spot that serves quality pub cuisine. From the looks of the Summerlicious lunch menu, we can see that goal was reached. The welcoming atmosphere and tasty food make Prohibition Gastrohouse a must-try on your Summerlicious hit list – truffle mac and cheese anyone?

Barnsteiner’s
Open and airy, Barnsteiner’s may be known for its romantic dinner service, but the lunch is the star of the show during Summerlicious. The large windows make for lots of natural light and the menu, which includes a Moroccan spiced lamb stew, is stellar!

Montecito
Some California dreaming is in order this Summerlicious, and there’s no better place to do that than at Montecito. Using the Southern coastal city as inspiration, Montecito is all about farm-to-table food and the lunch menu is no exception. Be prepared for a chic lunch for half the cost!

Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill
O&B is on everyone’s go-to list all year round, so come Summerlicious time people enjoy the lower prix-fixe options! This year the Bayview Village location is taking part on the pix-fixe madness offering a lunch menu for everyone. The options are varied and include sandwiches, seafood and pasta dishes.

A la carte at the Gardiner
A la carte at the Gardiner is sticking to what it does well, and that’s lunch. The menu is clearly French-inspired, offering the gourmet dishes associated with the Mediterranean country. It’s truly a hidden gem on the Summerlicious list! The restaurant is located in the Gardiner Museum.

Via Mercanti
Pizza is on the menu at Via Mercanti. The family-owned restaurant is the perfect place to grab a pie for a quick lunch, and why not take advantage of such a low price for a three-course meal! You’ll find fan favourites like Pizza Del Pastore or Pizza Caprino on the menu.
