Very cool little up-scale "hole in the wall" to hit after a show for some good wines by the glass, and a little to munch (great cheese plates) etc. It has a slick, hip, modern vibe/atmosphere going for it.... not too bright, not to dark... We did not do the full dinner, but would def go back.

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. There was live music which we really enjoyed. The volume was just right. We will be back again soon!

I go here all the time with my family. Wa all enjoy the great atmosphere and good service. The food is delicious! My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. I absolutely love their desserts, their assortment of cakes is mouth-watering, especially the chocolate caramel almond cheesecake. Definitely a Cambridge-must.
