They have excellent meats, comparable in cost to big box stores in Calgary.
Produce is fresh and fruit from BC available outside all summer.
They sell local and organic foods, and surprisingly offer some specialty items.
It's become my main grocery store so I don't shop often in bigger cities.

Thompsons is the Best !! It keeps this little town alive..Ken, the Owner is great, so accommodating...he often bring in things we may want to see in the store...great guy...and such nice staff...they help you out to your car if heavy bags..just do it .. The bread, etc. is baked in the store...and I absolutely love it.. grains, seeds so fresh ...I wont eat any other bread...its THAT good... Thank you Ken, and staff...your meat, eggs, veggies are so good...its a JOY to shop there. Holli A.

I liked it. There is a nice atmosphere, the staff is nice and knowledgeable. The grocery store has quite a bit of choice (including local products). No complains here about their espresso and capuccino! The spring rolls are delicious. I recommend the hard goat cheese.
My friend liked the course she took. Nice addition to Lethbridge.
