I love Charlie's Steakery! The food is so good! We ordered our sandwiches and was waiting for them. The man behind the counter forgot about our french fries. He was very apolegetic and kind. He said after we get our sandwiches, to sit down and he would bring our french fries to us. We received our sandwiches, which were delicious, and we sat down. After a few minutes, the man gave us our french fries, and a free glass of lemonade. He said the lemonade was for forgetting the french fries. Such a nice guy! The food can't be topped, and I will definitely return again. This is the best fast-food place I have ever been to. The service was excellent! Read more

One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts. All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo. The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah. They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked. If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am. Read more
