Amazing sushi at incredible prices! Sushi Nanaimo is an one of a kind because they offer delicious rolls and combos at prices you really cant find anywhere else. The Awesome roll, Alaska Roll, and Nanaimo roll are my favourites and the Dinner for two combo is also great value if you are there with a friend. The service is always efficient and friendly so this my go to place when I am in the neighbourhood! Read more

Amazing experience. they accomodated us with our infant, took our stroller in the coat check, and made sure my allergies were attended to. They checked about 6 times to make sure I was ok and no item which I was allergic to didn't make it to my plate. They gave us a full banquette because we had our son with us. As you wander along Robson Street this is a popular Japanese restaurant that has been here for awhile. Reservations highly recommended. The assorted tempera was excellent, nicely battered, and we tried various appetizers such as gomae, liver, fried fish, clam soup, edaname, tofu, Saba shiroyaki, salmon belly. We ordered various sushi which was lovely plated and tasted pretty good and fresh. Also, Negitoro roll, and a few nigiri items. The service was excellent. Read more

My wife is a sushi expert. She has tried almost every sushi restaurant in the downtown vicinity on multiple occassions and quite often the staff will know who she is. That being said, I definitely trust her opinion on Sushi and right now this place is her favorite. It is a small sit-down/takeout restaurant on Robson street and it is fairly new, and the sushi is fantastic. The salmon is always fresh and since they don't serve famred salmon it is always amazing. The miso soup is complimentary with a minimum $5 order and the staff are always pleasant. The only downside is they don't have any cooked food, it is purely sushi with some noodle soup options.
