Chefs, pastry chefs and sommeliers travel the world to help us discover exceptional dishes. From August 20 to 24, our city will have the honour of hosting the 4th edition of the Omnivore Montreal festival. And the best chefs from here and abroad will be present to offer us dreamy menus. Here is a preview of what lies ahead.
On August 20, François Côté, chef of the restaurant L'Impérial of Granby and Marc-André Leclerc, of Grumman 78, offer a menu worthy of the biggest events. There, you'll find treats such as trout tartare, crispy pig's head roll, lobster chicken wings (yes) and raspberry eclairs.
Martin Juneau, Pastaga's chef, accompanied by Pascal Barbot (L'Astrance, of Paris) and Patrice Demers, the extraordinary pastry chef, await you on August 21 for an extraordinary meal!
On August 22, Fabien Maillard of Le Lab, Comptoir à cocktails, offers a presentation of his craft and cooking with spirits. An event not to be missed for learning how to combine cooking and alcohol.
On August 23, chefs Cheryl Johnson and Charles-Antoine Crête, of the the brand new Montréal Plaza on St-Hubert, invite the famous Normand Laprise (of Toqué!) to join them.
