Finding great looking frames to turn an otherwise simple pair of glasses into a bona fide fashion accessory is always a challenge. And given that they are usually quite expensive, it’s always preferable to place your bet on frames that will stand the test of fading trends. Boutique Les Montures, located in the Mile End district, offers such frames, which stood the test of time and found their way on to the boutique’s walls, offering an alternative to looks adopted by the mainstream.
Les Montures is Nicolas Hamel’s project, which he leads with the help of friend Benoît Vergnaud, who manages the shop and spreads its success. "I came on board at the beginning of 2014 to better steer the commercial direction of the boutique. Before, Les Montures only sold vintage frames, but now, we carry more and more contemporary models as well," Benoît explains.
