Suppose you grew up taking apart clocks, fixing and cleaning them, then putting them back together. You did this whilst helping your dad run his watchmaker business. An experience like this might stick, and even inform later business endeavors. It sure did for Rami Safadi and his brother, who have opened three stores, and have been in the jewelry business since 1992. “We learned from our dad, who was a watchmaker in Jordan. It’s a family business, and we treat our customers the same way we would like to be treated,” says Bijouterie Futuriste owner Rami Safadi.
Bijouterie Futuriste sells branded jewelry as well as custom made pieces for its clients. “You can design you’re custom piece in-house." Bijouterie Futuriste also functions as a repair shop. “For big repairs we have it sent to the same workshop, but we can also do some small repairs here in the store,” says Rami.
