Dealing with Woods Fuels is a complete nightmere to say the least. When you call into the office and tell them NO more fuel----they think they can put their hands into your pocket---then no bills nor statements for approx. 8 months then you get this huge bill---after the fact you told them NO more fuel. Careful on who you deal with.
We have used the services of Don Woods Fuels off and on over a period of many years. As we also burn wood for fuel, sometimes we have not bought their products. We have found their service personnel excellent. We understand that inspections, especially for oil furnaces, are required by the province. They have been patient and helpful, especially in responding to questions and emergencies.
Although the girls in the office were wonderful, the guys who do the work were not. We got the run around week after week - it was almost November and we had no heat. Then the guy tries to rip us off selling us things we didn't need. $1700 he said. Then wouldn't give me a date for the repairs so I went somewhere else. $100 for the inspection and $25 for a hose then they gave us oil. Very unimpressed with Don Wood Fuels in Tweed.
