Went for Summerlicious. Some of the worst Chinese I've had. The dim sum was just OK but the tofu had a fishy taste. The beef tenderloin with foie gras was almost inedible. Fatty and chewy. The foie gras tasted like overdone chicken liver. The lobster was half a one pound portion and the three bites were overcooked. The rice in lotus leaf was simply awful. Dry and tasteless. The desserts reminded me of a Chinese Buffet. Left the restaurant hungry.
Who better to serve up an American holiday meal than the boys from Boston?
Chef Paul created the Thanksgiving Burger ($9.95), calling it "Like Thanksgiving leftovers on a bun."
With fresh ground seasoned turkey, stuffing, Paul's orange cranberry sauce, roasted butternut squash, and mayonnaise, it's the whole holiday meal in a convenient handheld version.
And it's available ALL.YEAR. LONG.
Talk about being thankful.
Speaking of Mark Wahlberg, Wahlburgers grand opening last November brought out the stars, including brothers Donnie and Paul and celebs like Jenny McCarthy (now Donnie’s wife), Maestro Fresh Wes, NHL legend Mats Sundin , and Michael Wekerle, to name just a few.
Reality show junkies love this as-seen-on-TV burger joint, owned by the famed Wahlberg bothers (Mark, Donnie and Paul). Located inside the SoHo Met hotel, the Hollywood family-owned burger joint serves up beef, seafood and turkey burgers topped with classic and creative ingredients. Why not play favourites and pick a burger based on your preferred brother? Mark’s choice is the Thanksgiving burger; a fresh ground turkey patty topped with stuffing, cranberry sauce and roasted butternut squash. Donnie’s fave is the barbecue bacon burger with a jalapeno kick, while Paul prefers the classic beef patty topped with his signature Wahl sauce.
