Meet the owner

Robin Vengroff always thought that everyone was as sentimental about clothing as she was. Then one day, when she stumbled upon her grandmother’s closet full of fabulous vintage items, she realized her love for clothes may be special. At the time, Robin was studying fashion at Ryerson University and, after she graduated, got a few job stints with local designers and a position in the Sears buying department. Clothes were her world.

Robin decided to sell everything that didn’t fit her. “My grandma was the baby of five kids, and her collection was so elaborate! She’d saved stuff from way back to the ’50s, so it was in all different sizes,” Robin recalls. The big question was where to sell it.
