Unfortunately, Indochine is one of those restaurants that loves to throw a ton of cheap vegetables into their food so they can spend less money on the actual entree. I ordered the seafood soup. It was swimming with diced celery. I ordered the calamari and the menu description stated "Malaysian Spicy Wok Calamari stir-fried in aged miso paste with garlic & smoked chili." I was not impressed when the dish arrived and it was 50% calamari, 50% green peppers and green beans - the cheapest vegetables you can get. If you're going to throw in a bunch of veggies, at least put "calamari and mixed vegetables" in the description. It was a huge turn off and i won't be back!
The perfect little boite for everyday dining out...
The perfect little boite for everyday dining out. Cheap, cheerful, with exceptionally quick service and a dash of urban sophistication. The food is not spectacular, but for the price it's very good. Tucked into a little street behind the central library. Excellent service. About $25-$30 per person.
