Customers are made to feel like an inconvenience
I live in the neighbourhood & have been in the store many times. If you are looking for great selection, you'll find it. But don't expect if you need help that the staff will be helpful. I went into the store enquiring about a helium tank rental, mass orders of balloons & I had to pull teeth to get information from the Manager. I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience to her day and while she provided her curt responses I kept thinking... You're missing out on a HUGE opportunity here! She looked sullen, annoyed and clearly did not enjoy her job (or people it seemed) Word of mouth and recommendations float freely in the company I work for (85,000 employees and growing) and my trip into It's My Party was to negotiate a long term arrangement for mass quantities of helium balloons for an indefinite period of time. I maybe seemed like just a single purchase type of person, but regardless of what or how much you're purchasing basic service standards is tablestakes. You will find interesting costume & party items, but it is self serve and sullen service at the best of times. It'sMy Party has other reviews on other sites that are just as 'glowing'.
