Michael Chudy has always loved being outdoors, whether it's camping, biking or planting trees. He first began working in gardens as a summer job in between his studies at Bishop’s University. After graduation, he worked as a full-time gardener with an award-winning landscaping company in Toronto.
After learning the ropes and working his way up to foreperson, operations manager and the Director of Operations, Michael found himself increasingly stuck behind a desk or in his car driving between work sites. “I really missed working with my hands,” Michael remembers. “I started Gardenzilla in the fall of 2014 so I could get back to doing what I loved.”
