On a long street with bountiful options for where to eat, I could see how this place might get passed by. When we entered it was not very busy but the atmosphere was very welcoming. We were there for a Sunday lunch so we all ordered coffee to start, they have a decent cafe au lait. The menu had a great variety with excellent prices! All of the entree salads were only $8. After ordering, we waited a really long time for our food, especially since it wasn't busy at all. However, when the food came out it was all divine! The pizza's were very large for one person and the crust was excellent. Omelette's and eggs benedicts were enjoyable as well. A neat thing about this place is that you have the option of half fries, half salad for your side with any entree. Overall, a good experience with decent prices but if you are in a rush I would suggest you go elsewhere because the service was very leisurely.
My friends from France and I found this charming little spot by accident. I had the best Mussels I have ever tasted (Toronto style) and the house white was so good we just kept ordering caraf after caraf it went down so nicely with our food. The service was good if a little slow but when your not in a rush who cares. I would highly recommend this location and have since my first visit. i will go back every chance I get.
Quite possibly the best unknown restaurant in Toronto. We have been coming here for years and absolutely love it! Especially the mussel fest in summertime.
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I've been here plenty of times and I (and anyone I'm with) always have a lovely time. Food is delicious, atmosphere is clean and classic, service is consistently warm and inviting, and the drinks are dandy too! The prices are on the high side, but you get what you pay for, which is an overall wonderful experience.
Great little place. Service and food were fabulous. Can't wait to go there again soon.
Quite possibly the worst lunch experience to date in Toronto. Waited at least 50 minutes for our meals. Once meal arrived, we asked what the problem was and why we waited so long, we were told by our server that we just shouldn't eat here on Mondays! The Chicken was over cooked to top it all off, only thing that saved our lunch was they luckily have some nice t.v's for watching World cup.
