Canadian Tire General Store

They have a good selection of items. Can be hard to what you are looking for, but the staff are helpful.

For a guys raised in the suburbs, it's comforting to have a large hardware store smack in the middle of the city. This is my go to place, when I need anything handyman-esque. It's a bit smaller than your average Canadian Tire, but you can usually find most things you'd expect to find here. I go back often.
