Ali’s has been around for a long time! My family has been going to Ali’s since before I was born and the food has always been tasty with a homemade flare. The location isn’t very nice and doesn’t feel very safe but we still drive a great distance to eat an Ali’s roti. The aloo pie is great; they have good Palourie with tasty sauce. The chicken shrimp and goat roti are excellent. The peanut punch is sooth and creamy and they also have great doubles. I always enjoy everything I order from Ali’s . The last time I went the roti stuffing was a bit scarce compared to what it use to be, but it was still good. The street parking can be a bit tricky at certain times of the day with the street car tracks and limited spaces. I would recommend Ali’s to everyone and I am sure we will continue to go there for many years to come.
Ali's is by far the best Roti in the west end of Toronto. I have it on my speed dial and drop in on my way home from work when the craving hits.
Absolutely a great place to go and eat roti! Perfectly spiced and super fresh. You can tell that the food is made with love! All the rotis are great, love the goat curry and the doubles are to die for! If you want to try something new and different you should definately go!
best west indian restaurant in canada.! real authentic taste, just like granma used 2 make.
This was the best roti I've ever eaten in Toronto, and I've been to a lot of other roti shops. I'm also from Trinidad. This is as good as any good roti shop in Trinidad. Maybe even better. Watch out for the spicy food though. Even if you order without pepper the food still has pepper in it.
Everything was amazing, the soup was authenic homestyle, and the paratha was as homestlye as a restaurant could get. Recommend to all. I am a frequent customer.

Consider yourself warned: there’s spicy hot, and then there’s Ali’s spicy hot. Ice cream is a must after any meal you have here, with Ali’s signature chickpea patty driving up the heat to incendiary levels. If you can finish it, though, you’re definitely entitled to dessert.
