    Poor Service, Poor Warranty

    I urge anyone looking to use Aire One Heating & Cooling to stay away. I'm just lucky there was no fire due to a spotty installation! I would not take any of their warranty claims seriously considering they could not install my ductless unit correctly and refused to provide service when I called repeatedly!

    Poor Service

    Aire One's sales team was convincing that the installation of a boiler would be easy When Aire One actually installed the boiler, they only did the bare minimum to make the boiler operational and did not install hundreds of dollars of components that were on the contract. It was only five months later, after the Better Business Bureau and Heating and Air Refrigeration Institute of Canada was contacted and complaints filed that Aire One returned to install these components and finished the job.

    Leaking valves & other problems with the system were discovered during the initial installation day. Aire One is not responsible for pre-existing problems and was wrongfully blamed for those problems. It should be noted that the building & mechanical system were both very old with various mechanical issues, which commonly present themselves after the system is modified. This property is a fraternity house, as a result Aire One had a very difficult time getting a hold of decision makers and people residing there. The decision makers involved were not available for long periods of time and Aire One was not given access to re-visit the site for various reasons. It took a very long time to make an appointment to re-visit the site after installation to address the outstanding issues. Eventually many of those issues were fixed by Aire One at no cost to the customer. Only item not installed during initial install day was the low water cutoff due to the those same pre-existing issues. After upgrades, it was installed.

    Terrible customer service

    Called Sunday night with a conked out furnace. Was told someone would call Monday morning to arrange a service appointment. Nobody called. Followed up… told there was no record of the original call and it would be another day before anyone could come see us. Al S., service manager, expressed zero empathy and blamed “the answering service” for the problem. When I told him that wasn’t acceptable, he basically said “too bad”. When I told him I’d call head office, he said “Go Ahead” and hung up. When I called head office, they were just as uncaring. This is terrible customer service and I will NEVER do business with AireOne again.

    Aire One would like to point that the description of the events by this gentleman is not accurate. Aire One has three locations that service Toronto. Our location had no record of his initial phone call, its possible that he had called another location and we were attempting to investigate the matter further. Unfortunately the gentleman was in a hurry and did not allow us enough time to be able to help him. He was promised a service call as soon as possible the same day before noon, but that was not acceptable to him. We take pride in our work and work 365days, 24/7. We do regret this incident and offer apologies to the customer.

    AireOne heating & cooling

    I called in to Aire One because they have been around in business for about 15+ years. From the get-go, I can see why they are still in business today. Very approachable people that cater to my needs and answered all of my questions…which there were LOTS! They got people right away to install my furnace which was passed its lifeline, and mention to take advantage of rebates which I didn’t see as a bad idea. What I appreciate about Aire One is that they get the job done. No problem at all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a company to care for their customers. Manny
