We have been coming here for many many years, and the staff along with their food is outstanding. Its a great dining experience each time, I rate it 5 stars
Bob Hemburger & his wife, Susan, are the most awesome restauranteers. They really know their stuff when it comes to providing great food & great service at affordable prices. Guaranteed an enjoyable dining experience.
We were in the area shopping after which we wanted a late lunch. Being from Toronto, we didn't know where to go. The Yellow Pages app and reviewers suggested the Innsville. Though the app sent us in a wrong direction, we called and found our way there easily. This is clearly a favourite watering hole for the locals who were having a pre- New Year's drink and gab. Our server couldn't have been more helpful, sharing with me that they have gluten-free options and told us the Lake Erie Perch was delicious. My husband had the fish, said the fries served with it were to die for and the steamed veggies were polished off. I ordered the gluten-free Noodles Alfredo which was very tasty. Coffee was also very good and I am quite fussy about my coffee. The kicker was the chef came out to ask if the gluten-free meal was tasty! I was so impressed but even more when I learned he is the owner. This restaurant is a find. If you are in the area and looking for a good dinner in a lovely ambience, make an effort to seek out the Innsville. You won't be sorry.
This is a great place to have a nice dinner out. I had a beautiful salad - light, fresh and delicious! Service was great too.
Everything was excellant. Service was great, waitress paid attention to all details. We were celebrating an anniversary. Cake was brought as surprise. Will definitely visit again.
I just love this place. They just don't make them like this any more. Even the menu is old school. Start out with a bourbon sour and order the perch dinner. You get a huge mound of perch! The service is a little weird some nights.
My wife and I were in Hamilton for the weekend. We decided to go to Innsville Hotel/Restaurant for dinner. We were greeted by the manager, I believe his name was Neil and quickly and professionally shown to our table. The decor was retro which we enjoyed a lot being zoomers and all and soon our waitress Stephanie came and I'm telling you I wish ALL waitreesses and waiters were this friendly and professional. We ordered ceasar salad, beef ribs, french onion soup, calamari, rack of lamb. OMG! The food was fantastic!!! The meat fell off the bones. We drink water and our water glasses were never empty, that's how attentive the staff was on a whole. Now as for Stephanie I can't praise that young lady enough. So professional, so friendly and the kitchen staff, the food in my opinion was beyond exceptional. If you ever go thru Stoney Creek - Hamilton drop in and enjoy a dinner at Innsville Restaurant.
I had the best Prime Rib I ever had on Saturday evening. Will deffinately by back! Friendly staff and cozy attmosphere. Wish I had room for the home made pie...
I have to say my last two visits to the Innsville were a disappointment. This is where I used to go for a great steak dinner, "retro" atmosphere and excellent service. Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but only when one of those two is the food. I have to agree with other reviewers that commented on the steaks. In a word: terrible. I have to assume that someone new has taken over the kitchen and they probably came from a "greasy spoon"-type restaurant where the clientelle were not hard to please as long as the food was hot and not moving (or moo-ving. sorry. terrible pun). In any case, if I come up disappointed on my next visit, I shall be forced to cross this restaurant off of my list of places to go for a great evening and meal. Service and atmosphere just can't cut it without great food.
For the last 2 years our small group from church have gone to the Innsville for our Christmas social evening - and 2 years in a row I haven't been impressed. The decor is cozy but simple - it is what it is, I won't fault them for that. For the age of their servers, I expect much better. Their knowledge of the menu was nothing beyond what was already written down. The food was the biggest disapointment, especially in light of the price. I love a good steak - and I did not get a good steak - charred on the outside and very rare on the inside - not medium rare at all. And for the price we are asked to pay, I expect more than out of the freezer pale steamed vegetables and what tasted like instant mashed potatoes. 3 people in our party didn't finish their meals. My wife remarked that she'd eaten better chicken parmagean in her university cafeteria... and I know what she thought of that food. Also, as we were leaving I received a vicious glare and sarcastic throat-clear from another server as I clipped our 4 month old daughter into her carrier. Rest assured, she won't have to worry about us inconveniencing her again in the future - no doubt about that!
I guess I should have ordered steak however, I decided to order the chicken Cordon Bleu instead. Very dry and the vegetables tasted like they came out of the fridge from a bag. To top that off, we ordered coffee and were asked if we wanted a top-up and said yes. The bill comes and they charged us for 4 cups of coffee at $2.50 per. A little sad or at least they should have notified us and I would have said "no". Will not return.
Had the most enjoyable evening on the weekend. The restaurant was busy and the food was fantastic. Always great when we come here. Prime Rib is better than the Keg
friends of ours recommended the innsville & since we are new to the area, thought we'd try it. The service was wonderful right from the start & our server certainly added to our great evening. We had coconut shrimp & baked brie for apps - both outstanding..... Prime rib for dinner & that was equally as good, my husband thinks better than the keg. We definately recommend this place !
We were a party of 5 celebrating a special occasion. We heard a lot of good comments about this Restaurant and thought we would try it . Prior to going there we checked Customer Reviews on line and saw some negative comments about the Service. With that thought in mind we still wanted to try it. To our pleasant surprise not only was the food exceptional for all of us, but the service was very professional. Our Server was "JANE" who was very responsive, pleasant and very attentive. We would all go back again without any Hesitation.
Food was/is good everytime I go. We do our business entertaining here and we've been pleased. Price is a bit high. And the beer tap is a bit limited. Though they have REALLY cleaned up the establishment and won't serve to excess which is GREAT. Wine list is good. Overall very nice
