Annette's Bridal

My bridal consultant was friendly and the atmosphere was great! HOWEVER, when I tried the dress on for alterations, I noticed a lipstick stain and a rip in the dress. I was wondering why the dress was half off but I was never told there was anything wrong with it. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. Last time I checked Off the Rack didnt mean stained and ripped. I was also bribed by the owner to write a good review for free earrings so here is my honest review.

Made an appointme...

Made an appointment to see a SPECIFIC dress & told them which dress. Drove 45min to the store. Was told they could not order it as I came in too late. Why did they not tell me this over the phone? Went to Amanda Lina's in Toronto, and got my dress ON TIME! The service at Annett's was terrible and they have no ambition to work for you. Worst experience ever!

Beautiful dresses...

Beautiful dresses and great consultants, but the owner is outrageously rude. I came in over a couple of issues with my dress and her body language was literally aggressive (leaning forward at the shoulders like she was trying to intimidate me), insisted that the mistake was mine and actually said it was impossible that she or her consultants could make mistakes. I will encourage everyone to look elsewhere, and I will never give Annette another cent of my money - she doesn't deserve it.

When I arrived at Annette's they didn't want anything to do with it! In fact, I dealt with Annette and she was extremely rude! She kept talking about the thorough inspection they do. What could have been an easy fix by steaming the dress (which costs like $10). She didn't provide any option at all. I ended up taking the dress to Sophies Gown's in Mississauga where I purchased my wedding dress.

I was tired of the crazy prices in Toronto and came to shop for a gown in St.Catharines with my mother. Nikki, at Annette's, was so wonderful, patient and positive. She made it easy to find the perfect dress; she really listened to what I said I was looking for and made me feel at ease. I found the dress! The price was just an added bonus. Also, as a bride who is marrying another bride, I was super comfortable shopping here. The staff were friendly, warm and so genuine. I highly recommend it!
