We drove a half hour because we have heard good things about this restaurant, and we weren't disappointed! The food was fantastic (we had the pork and turkey). The pork was super tender and the turkey very good as well. Fresh applesauce on the side was a nice touch. The dressing on the spinach salad was too die for. Very cozy atmosphere at a reasonable price, would more coudl you ask for?
The Hot Beef Special was in fact special - the beef could be cut with a fork, the corn was perfect, the beans still had a slight crunch. Could not have asked for a better prepared meal. The service and friendliness was definitely 5 star! The restaurant was spotless. The washrooms were spotless. The view of the garden from the back room was delightfull. I have deducted on star because the meal could have been a wee bit warmer! Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone!
