Our organizations have reason to celebrate as both the Minden Hills Open at the Gull and the National Whitewater Championships at MKC were incredibly successful with a high quality experience for athletes, officials, and spectators. The team of volunteers that contributed to the organization of these events displayed an outstanding commitment and dedication to ensure the races were conducted at the highest level possible. Many of the athletes competed in both events and were grateful for the efforts put forward on their behalf.Why were these two events so important to WO and ORR? The Minden Hills Open provided us the opportunity to once again use our new timing system at the Gull which is site of the 2015 Pan Am Games Canoe Slalom competition.
