Great mexican food of all types. I eat there at least twice a month. For dine-in, it sometimes takes a while to get your food, but it's well worth the wait. Definitely authentic and I would gladly recommend this restaurant to any fan of mexican fare. Try the chimichanga!
Authentic Mexican food
We visited this restaurant a couple weeks ago, based on word of mouth. What a fabulous experience. The place is small and does not look like much in the way of decor, but great service and most importantly, great food...exceptional food! I'm still craving the excellent Mexican sausage nachos, best ever authentic, deliciously tasting Magarita and amazing, taste-bud-tantalizing Chimichangas (is that how you spell it?). Wonderful, local place...can't wait to go again...hopefully soon!!!
The restaturant has a very interesting brightly decorated environment. There's a wide variety to choose from and the servers are very genuine.
A friend and I stopped in to see what it would be like. I had the Enchiladas Suiza -- chicken which was delectable. There was a cream tomatillo sauce to die for. It was a bit spicy, which I really enjoyed. It was served with rice, salad (with fresh cilantro) and refried beans. The serving size was way too big for me as the enchiladas would have been enough on their own. My friend had the beef tacos which were surprisingly steak strips (instead of ground beef) inside what was obviously a freshly homemade tortilla. We were offered a plate of nachos and salsa while we waited, which were also homemade. Overall, a very enjoyable and tasty experience. I will defnitely go back.
My husband and I happened upon this place just the other day and decided to try it out. The restaurant is quite small, but very brightly decorated. They gave us some tortilla chips and salsa while we waited (not long) for our food. The chips were nice and the salsa - not bad. It was a bit spicey :) I liked the spice, my husband , not so much :) The chicken chimichangas tasted fresh , not like some other "Mexican" places we've tried. Very crispy and light on the outside and great fresh ingredients on the inside. The chicken was all breast meat - very nice. I quite liked the refried beans, but thought the rice was only 'okay'. It had a bit of a bite / crunch to it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to taste like that or if it was a tad undercooked. The staff (one handsome gentleman) was very quiet, but nice/polite. We'd definately go there again. I'd like to try their Guacamole and fried icecream.
