This place has a great atmosphere! The food was delicious and my server, Glenn, took excellent care of me. Thank you Michael's Table for a great dining experience.
overall portions have been reduced, prices the same.salmon was very dry and overcooked was dry and could barely taste the sauce, had to ask for more. great service though
Very poor unresponsive Management customer service to my request for an additional piece of asparagus. In most good restaurants, the Management would have jumped to please this simple request. Instead, he instructed that I should purchase an additional side of vegetables, which would have then been too many vegetable. The Manager has tried to say this was just miscommunications, but from reviews by others, this poor customer service seems to be characteristic.
I am a resident of Perth and I like Michael's Table for the great food, the exceptionally good service and the reasonable price point. I have introduced a number of friends to this establishment and they become consistent customers too. One of my favourites is the Prime Rib Special, Thursday after 5 pm.
Very very VERY poor service from the owner. I will never go back, my friend will never go back. There are way too many great restaurants in Perth to receive an attitude like that! I now know why one restaurant was packed while Micheal's Table was empty. I would rather go anywhere else but back to Micheal's Table.
What can I say other then I was HORRIBLY upset with both the quality of food and the service. I went for a combined birthday brunch and the food was horrendous. I would not have given it to my dog. The bacon was either burnt or not cooked at all. The potatoes were again both burnt and raw in the centers, There was steel wool in my brother-in-laws eggs, The kids got their food last and one of them didn't even get food. It took forever for the food to come. The coffee cold etc. I will NOT be returning and I will be telling everyone I know to stay away.
It was a pleasant surprise to have a very delicious meal without having to make a reservation at a very expensive restaurant. It was a quiet night early on 5pm but we enjoyed a exceptional meal. My husband said he had the best steak he's had in years. Tender and cooked to medium as he wanted. My selection was the tilapia wrapped in phyllo pastry was thick and not over cooked. The presentation was very nicely done. Our waitress was friendly and without hovering over us, made sure we were well served. Lastly the cost of everything was in the range of 15$ to 23$ .Money well spent and we will make it a regular place to eat, next time we're in Perth
Michael's Table is a refreshingly pleasant place to dine. There were five (three from Denmark) in our party, three had the ribs and all three came away with the unanimous result of "the best ribs they had ever had." (This result was confirmed 24 hours later when we visited an establishment that is reknowned for its ribs and they just didn't measure up.) One person had the chicken and found it to be very good, the fifth had a steak and once again it was exactly as ordered, tender and flavourful. The only thing that I felt needed addressing is the service. It didn't quite come up to the standards one would expect for this quality of establishment. For example, when we arrived, a waitress greeted us with "do you guys have a reservation", and being addressed throughout the even as "you guys". What kind of a way is this to greet your guests and continue to refer to them as? Reaching over or in front of others and across the table when serving the various dishes is not on. My other note would be the way our waitress went about trying to remove the cork from our wine bottle. It was a real comedy; after fighting with the corkscrew, which I don't think she had any idea how to use, she wrestled it to a draw and finally another waitress came to her aid. I hope that the management can bring the servers credentials up to a more expected level of what fits an establishment that has everything else going for it. As a side note: this is for the men, kindly remove your hats when entering an establishment such as this. Service aside, we will definitely return as it is as good as and better than many others in Perth.
