Blue Vanilla Fruit Loop
The Blue Vanilla Fruit Loop delivers exactly what it promises, a sky blue vanilla bean glaze topped with toasted fruit loops. It looks like the kind of doughnut a Care Bear would make, but its suitable for children of all ages.
Bumbleberry
With a blueberry glaze and a mixed berry and shortbread topping, this one is as much pie as it is doughnut.
Cookies & Cream
Cookies & Cream has a vanilla glaze and homemade cookie crumb on top. It is very similar to a cookie that, for legal reasons, we are not allowed to identify by name. Goes great with a bottle of milk.
Dirty Chocolate
A classic dark chocolate glaze made dirty with a generous helping of our homemade chocolate cookie crumb.
Maple Bacon
Do we really need to say any more than the words maple and bacon? Ok, how about this? We dont just put the locally-smoked, in-house sliced bacon on top. We load the organic Wheelers maple syrup glaze with bacon drippings to ensure that each bite is packed with as much bacony goodness as possible.
Raspberry Cassis
A rich, tart raspberry and blackcurrant glaze dressed with stripes of white chocolate. For those without a sweet tooth, this is doughnut for you.
Salty Caramel
We start with our caramel, homemade in a copper pot to ensure its cooked to perfection. From there we add a sprinkle of fleur de sel, hand harvested off the coast of Vancouver Island. The end result is an extra sticky, extra delicious mix of sweet and savoury.
Spicy Pineapple
A sweet pineapple glaze with an added kick. For the more adventurous type looking for something that strays from the traditional sweet doughnut.
Sugar Munkki
The doughnut that started it all. Sugar Munkki comes from a traditional Finnish recipe. Many people call it our plain doughnut but the flavour is by no means plain. It is rolled in a mixture of sugar and cardamom that has been aged to express the full flavour of the spice. No plain doughnut tastes like this.

A trailblazing doughnut shop with an incredible history, Suzy Q Doughnuts uses a traditional Finnish recipe called sugar munkki. The recipe was almost lost during the Second World War, but a courageous young girl saved it as her family fled Canada. The full story is as sweet as the doughnuts, which have taken on a creative, contemporary twist. Savour a delicious bit of history in flavours such as blue vanilla fruit loop, London fog, maple bacon and raspberry lemonade.
View this Smart ListIt may be located in a little white shack that looks like the office of a used car lot, but don’t let that deter you; some seriously good gourmet doughnuts await you inside SuzyQ. Moist and fluffy, these rings of goodness come in inventive flavours that you’re unlikely to see at your local Tim Hortons – think salty caramel, London fog and maple bacon. At $2 a pop, they’re pricier than Tim’s, too, but you can get a box of six for $10. Seating is limited to a picnic table outside, but you’re not here for the ambience, right?
