Bad pizza in Ottawas Little Italy? You betcha! Wasted $50 there today on two pizzas and a salad. The pizzas were made with really bad dry store-bought crust and the waitress immediate response was to say that the menu doesnt say they arent made from store-bought crust. Which is why we are posting today on all available forums to help you steer clear of this place. Dont know what people who posted the glorious reviews actually ate but Im guessing it wasnt the pizza. Either that or there has
A friend & I dropped in for dinner, & picked two of the four specials that were offered, & really enjoyed the fresh cooked food, & brought home our leftovers. The service was great & my friend said we must come back to this place more often.
bonne nourriture et bon prix
White wine was placed at the table without a cooler to keep it chilled, 2 of our party's entries arrived still cold in the middle, upon complaint these were whisked away with little apology, no offer to take the other other 2 entries back to keep them warm....had to ask that our entries be kept warm so all four could be eaten together. Perhaps naive to assume that owner would think that when people are out for dinner together they would like to eat their meal together! Not to mention it would be very poor manners to eat in front of others when they do not have their food. Blueberry tea (hot alcholic beverage ) was served without a napkin around the snifter, could have burnt myself = zero attention to detail. Absolutely no offer of money off bill or even a drink or food to make up for the cold meals and delay, will NOT be going back and will NOT recomend to anyone.
Amazing and imaginative pasta dishes. Nice atmosphere, a highlight of Preston Street.

If you happen to visit Il Primo Ristorante on a sunny day, bring a bottle with you and sit outside on the patio. Let the friendly staff fill your glass while you indulge in the menu of Italian classics. If you're in search of something slightly different, try the Fettuccine Bombay: It's fettuccine with apple in a curry cream sauce. For dessert, the Frangelico-Hazelnut Tiramisu beckons. The corkage fee is $10 here.
