“Who doesn’t love cheese?” says Monica Wilczek, owner of Melt Grilled Cheese. At this Streetsville sandwich shop, you have a wide array of choices from The Classic with grilled cheddar and mozzarella to The Godfather with grilled cheese plus chicken, prosciutto and pesto.
The grilled cheese sandwich has long been a fan favourite among food lovers, so it’s no wonder the store became an instant hit with locals when it opened in May 2014. “It’s going really well,” says Monica, who had been eager to own her own food business. “I really love this area and I wanted to start something different since there were too many pizza joints and shawarma shops.” When Monica found out about Melt Grilled Cheese, she knew she wanted to open up her own franchise.
