When I took my then 4-year old to the hospital, the inexperienced young nurse working there forced upon my son an IV to which I refused and then proceeded to ask why an IV was being put in when we were asked to do bloodwork. She then proceeded to tell me that it had to be done and that I was wasting her time. An older and experienced nurse came in and confirmed it was only for bloodwork. Advice - as a patient ask questions, be firm and don't let any nurse/doctor bully you.
Literally the worst labor and delivery. That young Caucasian nurse was absolutely disrespectful and had no manners. I am a teen mother this happened August 2019. She did nothing but make me feel sad and insecure she yelled at me because I asked how bad the IV hurts because I have a horrible fear of needles. And while I was pushing some other bystander nurse said “hurry up and push her out already”. Then after birth the nurse kept bumping me into walls in my wheelchair. They are so heartless.
ncompetent doctors, bizarre rules, but when their own rules dont help them the rules dont apply. you are treated more like a prisoner than a patient don't keep patients informed of medical status and treat patients like crap.
checking myself out after a nightmare of a week...to go to a different hospital. AVOID this hospital. DO NOT got the this hospital, DO NOT send your loved ones the this hospital.
The only saving grace was the nurses and doctors in the ER department did an excellent job.
